4th Annual Health & Wellness Fair

Next Saturday, May 20th my office will be hosting our 4th Annual Health & Wellness Fair on from 12-3:30pm at Riverbank State Park. This is an incredible community event where we will be giving away hundreds of FREE bike helmets, health exams, and smoke detectors all while the community enjoys live performances, balloon twisters, a bouncy house, crafts, food, music and so much more! There will also be demonstrations by local groups such as Urban Yoga, Harlem School of the Arts, Dances for a Variable Population and Figure Skating in Harlem.

To make sure this event is a success, we’ve teamed up with

The NYC Department of Transportation
The NYC Department of Health & Mental Hygiene
American Red Cross of New York
NMIC Strong Fathers
CUNY School of Medicine
NewYork-Presbyterian Ambulatory Care Network
Well Care Health Plan, and more!

But we also need your help to make sure this event is a success. If you’re able, be sure to sign up as a volunteer for the event. Volunteers can assist with community outreach, signing up the community to participate, helping with day-of set up, greeting and aiding guests, supporting our live performances, and more.

If you’re unable to volunteer, but would still like to attend the event, just RSVP here, or call 212-928-6814 if you have any questions. Hope to see you there.
