Miriam Escudero is the Director of the “Esteban Salas” Musical Heritage Department at the Office of the Historian of the City of Havana and Professor at Colegio Universitario San Gerónimo and The University of Arts of Cuba (ISA).
Prof. Escudero, a distinguished Cuban musicologist, will give a keynote lecture followed by a unique concert of Salas and Pagueras compositions, headlined by Sonnambula, New York’s critically acclaimed Renaissance music ensemble, featuring authentic period instruments and an international cast of singers from Cuba, Spain, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the United States.
