The city will review all contracts it has with Donald Trump following disparaging comments he made about Mexicans during his announcement that he would run for president on June 16, the mayor announced Wednesday...
City Councilman Mark Levine who chairs the Parks Committee called the Parks Department to cancel the four contracts with Trump who runs has contracts at Ferry Point, Lasker Rink, Wollman Rink and Central Park Carousel.
"Mr. Trump's racist comments are despicable even by his already low standards," Levine said. "Our parks are public spaces where everyone should feel welcome and an association with Mr. Trump directly contradicts this spirit."
